In this second Servant Song, we see the mission of Christ expressed in vivid detail. The people of Israel had lost their way. These were the Chosen People. God had made a covenant with them. But they did not keep their part of the bargain. They wandered away, until they were without hope. They forgot God; they had forsaken Him for other gods, and been overrun by foreign powers, dispersed to the ends of the earth. But Jesus came to reach those who were lost. He came to restore them back to a right relationship with God.

LOVE the Word® is a Bible study method based on Mary’s own practice: lectio without the Latin. Get the book based on her method in the right margin, How to Pray Like Mary.
L – Listen (Receive the Word.)
O – Observe (Choose one or more of the following personality approaches to connect the passage to your life and recent events.)
Have you ever let the awareness that God has known you from your mother’s womb penetrate your heart? Does the realization bolster your confidence or does something in you deflect it?
God’s Servant is a “suffering” Servant. Why do you think suffering is so often a reality in the lives of God’s chosen ones?
When you think of the suffering you have endured, do you perceive a salvific component in it?
When dealing with struggle and failure, what helps you to remember that God’s opinion of us is far more important than the world’s?
V – Verbalize (Pray about your thoughts and emotions.)
Remembering that He loves you and that you are in His presence, talk to God about the particulars of your O – Observe step. You may want to write your reflections in your LOVE the Word® journal. Or, get a free journal page and guide in the right-hand margin.
E – Entrust (May it be done to me according to your word!)
Lord, help me release my fear of failure to you. I know Satan wants to use my fears to prevent my living boldly for You. Remind me that You are often glorified in our failures by showing us that “it’s not about me.” Forgive me for when I do not walk in faith, and help me from this moment on to live with bold confidence in You. Lord, help me not compare myself to others around me. I pray instead that I keep my eye on You and live a life of excellence that proclaims Your glory. Amen.+

I really enjoy following along with the word-for-word transcript. I see that no more are available going forward. I know it must be hard work to do. Any idea if they will be uploaded? I am following the Lent studies.
We have three in the works now.
Great, thank you!
